Forums ahoy!

Loads of changes on the site this week. You’ve already admired our new look, so now feel free to wander over to our new discussion forums and join in with the Twilight chat over there. Share theories, ask questions, ponder vampire lust (yours or Edward’s!), and have fun!
If you’re already registered on the Lexicon, then you are automatically registered under the same user name and password on the boards. You don’t need to re-register.
The chapter discussion part of the Lexicon is underway, with the Preface and Chapter 1 already posted. Thanks and a massive welcome to both Hannah Beckett and Pelirroja for taking on the job and joining the Lexicon team.

The Chapter Discussion leaders did a wonderful job. Only, it’s really long. Isn’t the point of it, that people can review by reading less than the chapter?

The layout is stunning, and I am SO excited to see a forum on here. I was desperately awaiting one. The Chapter Discussion is great–I’m ahppy to see that up and running.

Hi all,
I did the chapter summaries for the preface and chapter one. I hope it will be a helpful tool to readers as a reference in the future.
It’s a tough call to decide what to include and what not to include in a summary. You don’t want to re-tell every last detail, but you don’t want to leave out something people are going to want to look for. The early chapters probably will have some more detail because they contain so much exposition.
I managed to get the actual chapter 1 summary (not counting character listing, places, etc.) down to one page, approximately 500 words. This was pretty tough considering chapter one is 25 pages long.

Under main menu ‘The Lexicon’ it says soething like intro text to the lexicon. You may want to change that.

Im really excited about this website! I had no idea there even was one until Stephenie pointed it out on her website. LOVE the picture of Edward and Bella!

You can click the link in the announcement or go down to the words “Message Boards” on the side. And then you’re there!
