Tonner Dolls has revealed the prototype images for their Edward and Bella dolls due to be released this spring.

Um (I notice really weird things by the way) I think its funny how his pants are pulled up really high, and they are obviously too loose because his shirt doesn’t hang right over them. His shoes are too little boy dress shoes and his face has no comparison to Edward in the movie.
And for Bella… I like her outfit, but her hair is too light and I personally don’t see much of a resemblance in her face to Bella’s in the movie.

How interesting… However, at age 15, I believe that I am far too old for playing with dolls. (Also, I am far too busy for maintaing a doll collection).

You guys, stop being rude. Considering that dolls (or ahem, action figures in some cases) never really look like the actors anyway, I think they did a pretty good job. It’s not great, but it could have been worse. I like the Rob doll. The hair looks a bit funny though. I’m sure it’ll end up looking like Robert’s dirty messy hair after a couple of tea parties. LOL. ^__^

ok first i would like to say that people can make a doll look exactly like rob or kristen.people who say they look bad have no right saying that.its rude to the doll company and to rob and kristen.if u call the dolls ugly basically u r calling rpattz and kstew ugly.so shhh about rude comments!
ok i rele like the dolls but the faces r creepy.the outfits r rele good but i wud ave made kristens a little different but i like it.kristens doll’s hair is way to redish and needs to be darker.robs doll’s hair is purfect!
im buying them!i hopr they make the rest of the cast!!!we cud have a barbie and cullen showdown!!!

I like the Bella, she doesn’t look like Kristen Stewart but she looks closer to the Bella in my head. The Edward is a little odd. I’ve seen the picture of them together and it looks like they mixed up the hair colors, Bella’s looks red-ish and his dark brown. It also looks like Edwards trying to cop a feel.

All the little tweens and post-teens on here are so funny. “pshaw, i think im a little too grown up to PLAY with dolls. i havent played with dolls for years, at least two or three!” My dear little ones welcome to the grown up world of doll collecting, no, I dont mean barbies at all, nor the HS musical dollies you see in the barbie isle at Target, these Tonner dolls are for display ONLY and will cost will over $100, if not over $200. They are collectibles, and while a few of the sharper teens on here will be able to distinguish these ones from the hsm3 2 fo $20 dollies at the store, these are proabably targeted at the other half of twilight fans, older women who love Twilight.

The hair on the Edward one is pretty good.
I didnt want my whole post to be trashing them so that’s why I put the above sentence. Now on to the trashing.
This is ridiculas! Seriuosly! I mean what is this world coming to when they have made a vampire barbie!?! Not that I dont love the Twilight series mind you, I am a total twilighter through and through. But really these dolls are are pathedic. Who would honestly buy these things?

I do like the clothes but the faces bear no resemblance. That cheaper Edward doll who everyone thought looked too angry had a far better resemblance.

Actually guys, if you go to the website, click on the doll’s picture and get a close up, the faces of the dolls are actually pretty well detailed and decent looking. and the Edward doll is honestly not too bad. I’d even go to say it is very attractive for a doll. Of course we all have our mental images (sounds like the R.Patz argument a year ago all over again) but seriously, they don’t look like ordinary barbies. They look like they will be pricey….

If you go to the website, you would see these are COLLECTORS dolls. Their prices are above $100 each on all of their other dolls.

yeah, they don’t look nothing like the characters to me. I mean it’s just sad cuz nothing can depict how hot Rob or Edward is, except for themselves in the flesh, not a doll, or collectible, or whatever. Oh, and the Bella doll looks nothing like Kristen. This is just laughable. LOL

Wow, these dolls look great. But it’s funny how all of you are criticizing the detailing of them. Do you really think any doll would be a spitting image of the actor. Of course not.
