    Twilight UK Style!

    Maggie has posted her first official report from the premiere last night. 

    I’ve just come back from the Twilight premiere in Leicester Square and it was certainly an experience. It was a week of ‘yes you can go, no you can’t, yes you can, no you can’t’ and finally the people from Nokia pulled through and got me into the thick of things. I found out Tuesday night that I was able to go, and Wednesday morning I was on a train to London.

      I like it when she says this: It can be hard to remember that this is just how Catherine Hardwicke, the producers and their team (which includes Stephenie Meyer) pictured it. It’s not the be-all end-all. It’s one interpretation that we are invited to view.
      It is soooo true! We all have our own version in our heads and that is what really matters.

      I’m glad they love Twilight in the UK as much as we love it here in the US. I hope they have huge success there at the box office as well.

      Oh you are soo lucky if you got to go..I would have gone is I didn’t have exams until Tuesday! The ONE Twilight-themes UK event (ok so not the only one, but the biggest one) and I can’t go! I hate my life.

      The Twilight premiere has been on the national news today and yesterday it’s crazy I’m not used to it! I kept flickering channels and there was more stuff. I know you have Twilight TV coverage coming out of your ears in the U.S. but it’s not like that here and I was so excited! And there was the Rob interview on GMTV this mornig he was just saying the normal stuff about how he hates it when people recognise him on the street and stuff aw poor guy ;)

      Christ and pop culture.com released a new podcasts with one of the topics being the Twilight movie.
      It’s in the middle portion of the podcast.(There are some jokes about the fangirls in the theater at the beginning, but once you get past those it’s great. :P)
      There are also articles about all the books (and movies) that were very well written.

      Ok this isn’t related to the premiere, but I jest checked the box office and look how much Twilight has made world wide, we’re really close to reaching the goal.

      I was there and it was awesome but painful. I fell over twice (lol) and got trampled on a lot. I was also two people away from getting my book signed by Rob. =[
      And my water leaked all over everything in my bag including the notebook with my novel in it and one of my Twilight books.
      But I had a great time! I can't wait to see the movie again on dec 19th (I got tickets to the press screening on the 23rd of Nov). About 30 people from school are going. If not more actually… =]
