NP The National Post makes a comparison that we’ve never seen before: Twilight vs. Beverly Hills 90201. Somehow the writer of the article hasn’t noticed that Kellan Lutz is in both casts.
The New York Times covers how the definition of "Blockbuster" varies by year.
New Moon made Film Jabber’s 30 Hottest Movies to See in 2009 list.
Entertainment and Showbiz Twilight made the list for most movie mistakes of the year, but so did the Dark Knight, Momma Mia, Iron Man and other top selling movies. There are probably other movies with tons of mistakes, but not that many people saw them to report them.

Well, Kellan Lutz is only really in the new 90210, not the original Beverly Hills 90210 to which the movie seems to be compared to.

I wish I could know when Kellan was going to be on that show, I’ve watched it (ugh!) a couple of times only to be disappointed!
On another note, everytime I see “Movie News” my heart beats fast hoping that it’s New Moon news! Ugh!
Did I miss the Jacob Black is going to be played by (fill in name here) new news?

I wonder what the 41 mistakes were? Is there a person who goes to watch movies only to look for mistakes? Thats so weird that they actually have a tally of stuff like that for movies. I wonder if they are really big mistakes or if they are so small no one would notice them unless they were told to watch for that specific thing.

I think the more you see it, the more errors you notice.
I’ve seen it a lot. I don’t know that I noticed 41, though. Just a few:
At the beach, standing by the van, the boys from the reservation are not eating licorice, then eating it, then not.
Same scene–when it flashes to the boys from the reservation, the other blue van next to them is not there, there’s a white jeep a couple spaces down, but not the van.
In the prom scene, when they wave to Erik and Angela, Bella is holding a glass in her right hand, but she wasn’t before or after; she had her purse in her hand.
Those were just a few of the less obvious mistakes.

I went on that Movie Mistakes site, and while some of them are truly mistakes, like objects switching places, some of them really cannot be classified as mistakes. For example, Robert Pattinson’s accent slipping through at times. Or Edward sleeping in the hospital room when he said that vampires couldn’t sleep. (maybe if you hadn’t read the book you wouldn’t know this?). And the bandage on Bella’s arm is gone by the time she goes to prom (perhaps the idea that it had healed by prom hadn’t crossed their minds?). Anyway, while most really were mistakes, there were a few on that list that I thought were just misunderstandings.
This one confused me the most: “Factual error: The bite marks are simply birthmarks and too small to be an actual ‘human’ bite.” Anyone know what that’s referring to? Maybe I’m just blanking, but that doesn’t seem to make any sense.

I’m clarifying something on my last comment: I meant that if you hadn’t read the book, maybe you wouldn’t realize that Edward was faking.

Well it’d be kinda nice if they actually listed the mistakes in those movies. I’d be interested in reading THOSE.

Also I’ve noticed one they didnt list there at the scene where Bella was asking Edward why he didnt kill people and all that and he was saying he didnt want to me a monster and then he explained how and when he changed him and Esmee he goes from being on the rocks to being under a canopy of plants Edward getting rained on and wet (Bella dry though) to them still having the conversation but there back out on the rocks its not raining and Edward is perfectly dry. hehe.

um did anyone notice that some of the movies on the “big money makers” list are also on the continuity mistakes list?
wonder why they made so much if they’re full of mistakes….

there could be some mistakes here and there but i would have to buy the movie when it come out. but at the porm with bella holding the glass is not a mistake. think it as time between the two cuts.
