vanessa is a psycho!!!!! It’s funny how Ashley reacts to hearing about vanessa auditioning for leah. She’s like what???? I bet she was thinking, oh my heck what a freak, please no! And I would agree with that!

Lucy Hale over Vanessa Hudgens PLEASE! I don’t know if they’re going for the same parts, but I’m up for anyone OUT of the Disney bunch. Period.

I don’t see any parts in New Moon for either Vanessa or Lucy, unless they’re just one of the sparkly-sundress-Volturi-bodyguards in Volterra. If they hang around for Eclipse, maybe they can battle it out to be Bri in Victoria’s army. (Not much, but it’s a speaking role anyways). Or For Vanessa, maybe Carmen (who is hispanic, or at at least spoke some spanish) in Tanya’s clan? Only they don’t hit the screen until Breaking Dawn.

Entertainment Weekly also has a behind the scenes look at Kristen’s Stewart’s new movie, Adventureland which will premiere at Sundance on Jan 19 and open in theatres on March 27. Loooking forward to seeing it. By the way, does this site have something against Kristen? Usually don’t see that much news about her on this site.
We have no problem with Kristen. We definitely thought she was great when we met her on set last year and on the red carpet. To us she seems like the kind of person who really likes to think and to really analyze things (probably what makes her a great actress) before she speaks. She’d probably totally rock in a book discussion or college lecture. The flip side is she doesn’t do a lot of quick comment to the press that the others have been doing. She’s a more private person, just like Liz Reaser (You’ll notice not a lot of stories on her either.)
We do cover Kristen’s stuff. We missed the Adventureland item in EW. We’ll add that in tomorrow. A bunch of the Kristen stuff that has hit of late is the kind of invasion of private life stuff that we won’t post. Many of the articles have been wildly speculative on her love life ( we’ve lost track of the combo’s of people they have hooked her up with, one love triangle is particularly hilarious), and we’re not really into covering that type of thing. We’ve been left with a lot of Teen Vogue stuff, the Adventureland and indie stuff that she is doing hasn’t really swung into high gear on PR.

Two more ideas for Vanessa/Lucy to audition for… parts in Rosalie’s and Jasper’s backstories. Lucy could totally be Rosalie’s friend from before Rose was a vampire, and Vanessa could be Maria who created Jasper. Those parts I could be satisfied with them taking.

Vanessa is from disney so she is most likely just trying to get a huge jump in fame… and i don’t think she can pull something this big off.

Year of the Wolf, haha, I like that. It seems like one of those scarry werewolf movies.
Who would Lucy play? I can kinda see her as Jane, if they can get her to look evilish. But really?

i really like Lucy i think she’s really pretty. In a way she could’ve been a good Alice but past is past, and i love Ashley. However i could see her as Jane, idk but i like her =D

NO disney people should be allowed in Twilight. They’re already famous enough. I want Twilight to keep getting relative unknowns (but good at acting) for the parts, so they can have their time to shine, too.

I think it’s unfair to put a “blanket ban” in your mind on “Disney people”. There are a lot of good actors from Disney, but people just focus on one or too and say “NO DISNEY” which is just awful.
For example, I want Dakota Fanning for Jane, but she’s worked for Disney before. So enough of this “No Disney” business!

I would definitely not put Dakota Fanning into the Disney category as she has already branched out of that realm- and continues to do so. The upcoming movie Push (put out be Summit as well) is perfect example of that. WE WANT GOOD ACTORS, NOT BIG NAMES.

No Vanessa, but I’m not stereotyping her because she’s from Disney. For all I know she could be a relatively good actor. It’s the fans I’m worried about. If Vanessa gets a role the movie theaters are going to be packed with little 8 year olds who are going just to see her. And then their going to fall in love with Twilight and then BAM little 6,7 and 8 year olds are going to be invading our forums and pretending they know **** about Twilight just because they saw the movie. NO VANESSA!!

I don’t think New Moon could afford Dakota Fanning. I agree she would be an awesome Jane. I also think that Vanessa has been “typecasted” as HSM. What if the actors of Twilight become that way?? Look at Johnny Depp what do you most remember him for?? Pirates of the Carribean (disney Movie).I am not pro-Vanessa but I think slamming her will do us no good because really??? It’s not our choice!

Thanks for the response about Kristen. It’s just that I have read other info about her and interviews she has given while in Europe promoting Twilight. I love her answers in the interviews because she really thinks about the movie and characters. She does seem to be a private person and I totally respect that. I really do not want to read about the “love triangle” relationships, either. So I appreciate you not writing about that garbage. However, I did see something interesting where Rob supposedly gave her a guitar for her bday. If true, what a great gift! We don’t hear too much about her musical talents but if she is going to play Joan Jett, she must have a great voice!

angie– about kristen stewart… i love her voice, she sang a little in Into the Wild… and i thought it was really treu and kinda raw…. like not exactly what you would expect from her but its like a really nice breath of fresh air.
and i too am glad that we dont have to hear the rumors people are spreading around either (ie. leah casting) on this website =]
