New Moon Rising

ReelzChannel has just come up with a New Moon quiz. It’s not your typical media outlet quiz. They definitely did some research on this one.
They are also planning some fabulous New Moon coverage and want help from the fans. So some of what they want to know is covered in the polls below. Let them know what you think by voting and commenting, no never know who they may decide to quote.

that quiz was pretty difficult…but it wasnt really on New Moon, the book itself, so it wasnt entirely fair.
also, for that first poll, i want to see all of those scenes so it was very hard to choose!

Calieh0- I agree, it was a tough poll! I just think the scenes in Italy are what can make the movie franchise GREAT.
I also just saw The Golden Compass and my hopes are now through the roof for New Moon! Now granted, I didn’t read the book, but as a stand alone movie- it’s great. I can’t really say the same for Twilight on film, but I hope to for the next two- HOPEFULLY 3!!!

wow that quiz was hard-ish. I only got four!! And those polls were hard to choose from. I hope they don’t chop too much from the new moon book for the movie! I love a lot of scenes!!!

I agree about wanting to see the motorcycle scene! After that it was really a tossup between the reunion/clock tower scene and the cliff diving scene for me!

I might come out as really emo, but I really, really want the part where Edward leaves Bella perfect. It HAS TO BE breath-taking,jaw-dropping and I want that scene to jump out of the movie screen and scream, “TEAR-JERKER!”

The beginning of the book is too depressing but w/o it you don’t understand all the Jacob parts, its really going to suck if they cut any of the parts from the poll.

it was so hard to choose one scene,but i went with the papercut thing.i can’t wait to see jasper try to eat bella!;D

The clocktower scene, and then the almost-kiss with Jacob. Or wait… I thought it was where she punches him, but I guess that one’s in Eclipse. Shoot. Too late to change the vote now.

That papercut scene was almost the cherry on top of the bloody ice cream. It is was prompted Edward to leave Bella, and I am so excited to see all of their reactions to it.

i really wanna see the scene where he proposes!!
and i cant wait to see the scene where he leaves her, even though i will cry SO MUCH!!

I think it is important to include the clock-tower scene in the movie because most of New Moon deals with emotion- this scene adds suspense and action, which would make the film adaptation that more entertaining.

AH! All those choices were hard to choose from *with the exceptions of the ones involving puupy boy - Jacob* I just want to see any scene involving Edward. All of them are really important: jasper going crazy, edward leaving bella *i will cry* and italy!! ahhh and the KISSES! I cant wait for this movie to come out!

i agree, i want to see all of those scenes. but i think since the book is largely focused on bella’s depression, and what brings her out of it, i am extremely curious to see what the new director does with her depression.

the paper cut scene, i think, is essential to why edward leaves; the last kiss is indicative of something changing; then the break up, which is crutial to detailing bella’s depression; theres the phone call, which brings the cullens back into our minds (not that they ever left); the reunion, the volturi…. all of it. new moon is just such a crutial part to the entire story. i cant wait.

New Moon MUST have ALL those scenes in the poll! There’s no way that even one of those scenes have to be cut out because they’re all so important!

I’m so looking forward to cry. Just to cry when Edward leaves Bella and then cry when they meet again in Volterra. Then it will be happy tears. I hope they make the break-up scene very emotional and that Kristen’s and Robert’s acting will make us cry. But I really hope they don’t make it sappy. No sappyness please. And the Volterra-stuff, when they meet again, it got to be very emotional too. And I also hope they can get the complications of the relationship between Bella and Jacob properly on-screen.

I agree I can see myself crying too. And that first quiz was REALLY hard. I mean I wanna see all parts let alone me just have to pick on. I cant wait for the movie.

Though the break up scene is heartbreaking, it’s essential to the plot of New Moon. I can’t wait to see how they portray it in the film.
Also, they have to have the almost kiss with Jacob. I’m a huge Jacob fan, but even die-hard team Edwards have to agree that it has to be in the movie. That almost kiss is the beginning of the tension between Edward and Jacob that shapes the rest of the series.
I’m also excited for the reunion kiss. Who isn’t? It’s the part of the story when everything is alright again, when after hundreds of pages of worry the reader finnaly feels at ease as Bella does.

Okay, so one scene that I really want to see in the movie is when Jake takes Bella to meet the rest of the pack and then Jared tries to attack her and then Jake protects her. I love that scene. I wish that they have every part in the book in the movie. That would be sick but I doubt that would happen but a girl can hope lol.

I am so psyched for this movie to be released! I am a huge Edward fan, but I am slightly worried that the movie won’t focus on Jacob and Bella as much as it should. Just because Rob Pattinson is extremely popular (and good-looking) does not mean that crucial plot points should be skimmed over or cut.
Okay, now that that’s off my chest I have to say that I can’t wait for the scenes in Italy with the Volturi. I hope that they convey the suspense felt during those scenes. Also, I can’t wait to see what the werewolf transformation looks like, and the bonding between Bella and Jacob.
This movie has so much to live up to, and I have no doubt it will be amazing!

I think like most of you, all of the above would have been a great choice to pick because all of those scenes should be put in. I would like to see Bella learning to ride the motorcycle I can so see her in my head with blood flowing down her head struggling to get up and get the bike going again just too hear him. The break up scene is crucial.I so remeber my first break up it was so devastating.I also believe Charlies scene from that time is an important addition imagine searching for your lost daughter and how she looked when the boys from the Rez brought her back to him. However I look foward to the reunion and the the Volturi They are so dark and mysterious at this point..
