    Novel Ideas

    By Twilight_News | January 29, 2009

What exactly makes Twilight so popular? Unlike a lot of bigger media outlets, this small town paper has figured it out.

The American Bibliophile is adding The Host to its book discussion list.

I know Los Altos well..thats soooo cool that you posted something from there! I have to agree with the writer of the article, the book is definately a mix of genres. I think that the Twilight Saga has the same effect on me now that the Harry Potter series had on me back when I was in middle school, its amazing. I’m usually not into reading books, but these were exceptions =).

I’ve been wondering about The Host. Think I’ll take it up after I’m done reading the saga again.

Did anyone else catch onto the fact that a seventh grader wrote that piece? She’s an incredible writer!

I think the books are so popular (especially with females) because they really allow the readers to project themselves into the story. the story seems so real and nothing else happening around you matters anymore (when you are reading the book).
i remember that when i first read twilight (in 2005), my brother was talking/yelling at me to do something, but i couldn’t really make out what he was saying. it just seemed too far away.
