Blue Foundation
By Twilight_News | January 31, 2009

Blue Foundation started out in 2000 based on Tobias Wilner aka. Bichi’s cooperation with various artists and musicians. The music can be described as a mix of melodic dreamy pop influenced by indietronica and shoegaze. Tobias Wilner just called it folk music for modern people. Blue Foundation released their first 7” via MoshiMoshi (Hot Chip, Bloc Party etc) and their 1st, self-titled album was released shortly after. During the last years, Blue Foundation have expanded their audience, embracing both the underground and the alternative mainstream. You can find the beautiful and cinematic sound of Blue Foundation in major blockbusters such as “Twilight”, “Miami Vice” and their music also appeared on The OC. Blue Foundation released their 3rd album “Life Of A Ghost” in Scandinavia in 2007.(source)
You can check out Blue Foundation on Myspace and Youtube.

The Mitch Hansen Band Meets American Idol
By Twilight_News | January 30, 2009
The Mitch Hansen Band, who along with the Bella Cullen Project, was one of the first bands to be inspired by Twilight, recently re-recorded their debut album in a real studio with one of David Archuleta’s producers!
The new album is called Endless Day and it is 9 of the songs from their previous, independent release that have been totally remastered and re-recorded. Plus one, new song, too.
You can check out the band on their official site, their MySpace, and on Facebook.
In fact, they aren’t half bad on YouTube either.

No, we don’t mean the weather. Check out Frosty’s footage! (We had to taking the video embedding out since it was killing our load time, but you can find the videos at Collider linked above.)
ET was also at the premiere, where they talked to Dakota (it is her night afer all) Ashley and Kellan.

Rumor Control
By Twilight_News | January 29, 2009
"We’ve recently had a bunch of emails from people claiming they saw a news story in various places claiming that Stephenie said she is never finishing Dark High Noon. Highlight to see the explanation of Dark High Noon —–>(Inside joke the Lex refuses to call the novel Midnight Sun. It’s like saying Voldemort in the Harry Potter world. It’s bad luck, if you say the novel title you may never see a completed version.)
From what we understand, the status of Dark High Noon has not changed since August. It’s a slow news week, folks, and we’ve been seeing a lot of rehash on tons of Twilight articles both movie and book related. You can see Stephenie’s statement on her website and a follow-up interview where she directly mentions her plans to EW. Things are no different than what is reflected on those two links!

Movie News
By Twilight_News | January 29, 2009
There are some fabulous new photos of Jackson Rathbone that are on various sites today.
To be honest, we’re kind of boggling at the irony of this one. PETA has given the Twilight movie an award as being most friendly to animals. Do the PETA people realize that "vegetarian vampire" isn’t literal and that the Cullens drink animal blood? In the first forty or so seconds of the movie a deer is clearly killed. Did they watch the same movie we did?
E! has some info on the New Moon soundtrack.

According to Paul Grein of Yahoo’s Chart Watch:
"Twilight soundtrack, 33,000. The former #1 album inches up from #6 to #5. This is the album’s 12th straight week in the top 10. That’s the longest run in the top 10 for a theatrical movie soundtrack since 8 Mile had 14 weeks in the top 10 in 2002…"
