Jaen sent us some fun pictures from the recent San Diego signing. Here is what she had to say:
My name is Jaen and I just thought I’d share with you some pictures I took at the San Diego Signing last May 23rd and some other cool tidbits I experienced while I was there.
I was not able to get to the venue until 7:00 so I missed out on the fun charades, etc that was happening beforehand. I did however take some pictures a couple of minutes before Stephenie came out, while she was talking, and while waiting for my number (#797) to be called.
Some cool tidbits for all of you:
1) While trying to find the venue, a group of adults from another ballroom were curious as to the hoards of people coming in for the signing and why the excitement. They were really interested in who all these people were coming for and they thought it was an actor/actress! We had to tell them it was actually an author and they were really surprised at the sheer devotion they saw in all the people that passed by! They haven’t seen anything like it!
2) Walking around the ballroom taking pictures, I noticed some parents and teens looking at my shirt. One girl (Sorry! I should have asked for her name!) actually came up to me and asked if I worked for the Lexicon. I simply stated I was an avid fan and only wanted to represent. She wanted me to pass on to the Lexicon a sincere and large THANK YOU for everything you do. She logs on everyday to the Lexicon for her daily Twilight news and really can’t do without it. So THANK YOU LEXICON!
